FAQ About Selling DVDs Online

How quickly will I get paid?

Once we receive your DVDs, our quality control team will check them within 3-5 working days. After approval, payment is processed within 3-5 working days.


Total time from collection to payment: Typically 8-10 working days.


Bank transfer and PayPal payments are received within 1-2 working days. Cheques take 5-7 working days to arrive by post.

What happens if some of my DVDs are rejected?

If any of your DVDs don't meet our quality standards or aren't currently in demand, we'll send you an email letting you know which items have been rejected and why. You'll only receive payment for accepted items.


Important: Unfortunately, we cannot return rejected items due to the high costs involved. Rejected DVDs are responsibly recycled or donated to charity where possible.


Before sending items, please:

  • Check that discs play without skipping or freezing
  • Ensure cases and artwork are in reasonable condition
  • Confirm items aren't ex-rental products
  • Review our condition guidelines for more details
What condition do my DVDs need to be in?

We accept DVDs in good, playable condition.


✓ Acceptable condition: Discs should play without major scratches, skipping, or freezing. Cases can have minor wear but should be intact (not cracked or broken). Cover inserts should be present and readable. Multi-disc sets should include all discs.


✗ We cannot accept: DVDs that won't play or skip badly, items with broken or missing cases, DVDs missing cover artwork or inserts, ex-rental items (marked "not for resale"), pirated or counterfeit copies, or water-damaged or mouldy items.


Please note: All items are tested by our quality control team once they reach our warehouse. We have to reject items which do not meet an acceptable condition for resale. We cannot return rejected items, so please consider this before sending them in. For full details, see our condition guidelines.

What if I don't have the original case or artwork?

We prefer DVDs to have their original cases and cover artwork, as this affects their resale value. However, we may still accept items in alternative cases if the disc is in good condition.


Please note: DVDs without any case or artwork, or in severely damaged cases, are unlikely to be accepted. The better the condition of the complete item (disc, case, and artwork), the more likely we can accept it.

How long are my quotes valid for?

Quotes are valid for 28 days from when you add items to your basket. This gives you plenty of time to collect your DVDs together and arrange collection.


After 28 days, your basket will expire and you'll need to rescan your items for updated quotes. Prices can change based on market demand, so we recommend completing your trade within the validity period.


Tip: Once you've reached the minimum trade value ($7.50or 10 items), complete your trade to lock in your prices!
